Phase 2 unlocks the full potential of The FRAME, completing the transformation of a unique industrial relic into one of the most spectacular and iconic public spaces in the country.
The Conceptual Design for Phase 2 was developed in the summer and fall of 2023 by the Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA) led design team in close collaboration with the City of Burlington, Friends of The FRAME, and a range of local community members and stakeholders. This bold vision for the landscape began with the ways people have already embraced this historic landmark, seeking to amplify its capacity to host year-round programming and offer a more engaging experience of the waterfront.
